For me what brought all the different parts of the fight together was prayer. I asked people to pray for me, and many did; many whom I have never met. I myself prayed and still pray a lot. I completely submitted my faith to the will God, because I realized the doctors only know so much when it comes to this disease, no one knows how it starts or cured, they can only manage it. This is the time to dig deep into your soul and find out who you are and change yourself, your life, and your outlook on life. This is the time to forgive yourself and others and to take you relationships to a different level. This is the time to purge your mind from hate and dislike, no matter how petty they are. This is the time to understand that you have been chosen by your God to be awakened out of a long deep sleep and to evolve into a human being with a higher level of consciousness. I am not cured yet, but I have been shown a beacon of light far in a distance. As I walk toward the beacon, I am passing through thresholds, and each threshold requires a new found strength to cross. Having cancer was the best thing that happened to me. No matter what awaits me at the end of this road, I intend to carry on this journey with hope and optimism, and help whomever I can along the way. What I have learned so far is to never lose hope, must persevere, and have complete faith. To give thanks during the most difficult times of your life and to know that whether you live on, or are taken back to the Lord, you have won.

God bless you for taking the time to read my story.
